Details:
Verce was born in Atlanta Georgia and started rapping in 2000. He used his street knowledge as a catapult for his musical success. He has a very witty, humorous and polished style. A southern style with a lot of cocky flair and passion.
As the battle of Eastside Atlanta verses Westside Atlanta verses the South side of Atlanta continues, Verce has quickly brought recognition to the Northside of Atlanta. He is highly successful in North Atlanta and now is being recognized all around the South. He is the shine of the North side, the commercial appeal of the his flow has been compared as Ludacris mixed with a little Jay Z. His album The Verdict is the perfect blend of commercial and street appeal. This album will truly be a classic. He stated in an interview “What made me get into this hip hop thing is the division of race in hip hop fans. Some people will not listen to an artist because the artist didn''t do prison time or sell on the street and other people will not listen to an artist because all they talk about is the streets. “Well I was born in the hood and was forced to move out to the country, until the country town I lived in turned into the hood. This place was trapped in time and one street divided the races. It was like 1955 all over again, race wars, guns, knives, you name it. This is where I spent every day fighting and getting picked on because of my color. So I have a good understanding of all races and I have learned that we all are truly the same at the end of the day. The hood respects me cause of the things I have seen and been through and the people not from the hood respect the art and passion you can feel in my music, if you don''t believe me then listen to my song "The N Word". I just wanted to make an album that everyone would be comfortable with. I truly see no color and make music that will hopefully help us understand each other a little better and come together. Oh yeah and dance and drink alot too you dig.” Verce later started a small label named Ground Floor Ent. Although unsigned he has worked with artists like Knockout of the highly underground successful Riot Squad and Bohagon of Little John’s BME. His underground roots and witty punch lines combined with his polished and undeniable voice gives him all the qualities to be truly successful in hip hop.
