The Hurricane System is a collective of musicians with members in San Francisco, Oakland, and Brooklyn. Primarily a studio supergroup, THS has as its mission to create a soul and jazz based brand of futuristic rock and roll. Its members will typically lock themselves in the studio for weeks at a time trying to figure out how yesterday''s rock and soul hits would sound if they were played in the not-so-distant tomorrow.
