Matthew Becker is a self-taught Canadian composer who began to show an interest in writing music at a young age. He first composed a piece at the age of sixteen, and since then has dedicated his studies in the field of theory, harmony and composition.
Though Glass-stained Forest contains classical elements, it also has a modern flair. Different types of sounds from the ambient, electronic sounds of New Age and even some rock can be found in this album. The composer recommends serving this album chilled next to a serving of cocktails and fajitas.
