For four years, Mad-Sweet Pangs have been based out of Newark Delaware, writing and playing original music for anyone who might listen- college students as well as folks both young and old. Their sound has developed into an Americana folk-funk blend they dub “Organic Rock.” While "The Pangs" are creating something new and eclectic, there is a definite rootsy vibe throughout their music.
In June, 2008 Mad-Sweet Pangs Released "Witness & Wait" - their sophmore album co-produced by Peter Gary and Greg Allen (John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys).
Mad Sweet Pangs accomplishments include: awards for "Best Jam Band" (Delaware Music Awards), "Best New Delaware Band" and "Best Instrumental" (WSTW 93.7); airplay on SIRIUS'' satellite radio station "Jam On" a feature spot on ABC''s "tuned-in" music series, and tours in DE. MD, VA, NJ, CT, NY, MA, VT, PA, WI, OH, MI, IL.
