Now 22 years old, Jacob began appearing in front of audiences at the Harbor Playhouse in Corpus Christi, Texas when he was just 5 years old. He continued acting at the Harbor Playhouse until he graduated from high school. He attended college in Oklahoma at Oklahoma Baptist University pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.
He has appeared in plays in Corpus Christi and San Antonio Texas at the Harbor Playhouse, TAMUCC Theatre, Riverwalk and The Centre Theatre; in Tulsa and Shawnee, Oklahoma at the Warren Theatre, Wilson Theatre and Discoveryland; in Edenton, North Carolina at The Rocky Hock Playhouse; in New York, New York at The Statue Of Liberty and George Gershwin Theatre;in Washington DC at the Lincoln Memorial and received a lead role in Anaheim, California at the Hyperion Theatre for Disney''s Aladdin.
In addition to being on stage, Jacob has also produced and directed The Miracle Worker in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Dinner at Mike''s Dinner Theatre in Corpus Christi, as well as being, the Theatre Administrator at Primera Iglesia Bautista.
Jacob is currently a junior at Texas A & M University in Corpus Christi and plans to graduate with his teaching certificate in Theatre Arts and a minor in Business Administration.
While at King High School in Corpus Christi, Jacob was selected for the Texas All-State Choir. He was 2nd Chair baritone in his junior year and 1st chair baritone during his senior year. That was when the desire to become a recording artist overtook him. Since then he has been a soloist at many venues. He has recorded two CDs. His latest, When I Fly Away is comprised of 11 never before released songs, most written by nationally known songwriters.
The first single, From a Cross to a Crown, is to be released in July on Glory Train Records.
