From the suburbs of New Jersey to the plains of Waco, Texas, JohnMoss was formed. In 2007, writer Andrew John Moss Hannig began a solo recording project that would begin a new phase in his life and music. With the help of his best friend and drummer Grant Beighley, Andrew, at only 21 years of age, recorded the entire album in his apartment at Baylor University. With melodies like the Foo Fighters and beats like MuteMath, the intention of JohnMoss was to create a warm sounding music that would freshen and personalize the music industry in the days to come.
After playing numerous venues, releasing several CDs, and engaging in talks with RCA and Sony with his former band called Centralside, Andrew concentrated his efforts on bringing his solo album to life. With the help and encouragement of mixing/mastering engineer and long time friend John Bonaventura, Andrew began pursuing a career in music. Sunsets on the Ground became the debut album of JohnMoss and has stirred up noteworthy interest in the surrounding areas.
