Although Joe byrd has been a side man for various national artists, he has continued to compose and produce music for singers of different genres, as well as completing three CDs. A seasoned guitar player with many years as a studio musician and performer, Joe has decided to step out front and share his passionate music with the public. The new CD, "From the soul to the Strings", has many influences, but the overall feel is mellow and reflective. A perfect CD for crusing in the car,entertaining, laid-back dinner music or just relaxing and calmly reflecting.
Joe started playing in clubs at 15 years old and the maturity and expressiveness was evident then and has evolved from that time until now.
Moving to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio in the winter of 2007, Joe''s creative mode has stepped into overdrive, cranking out a large selection of new smooth jazz music, as well as collaborating with an up and coming London- based singer Joey Elkins. A soon to be released should be available in early 2008.
