James A. Brown (J.B.), from Flint, MI by way of Detroit, MI is a poet, spoken word artist, percussionist, visual artist, and author of the popular series "Crazy Joe". "Suck My Mind" is a compilation of two poems written by J.B. The first poem "fine" is rich in augmented- alliteration. This technique allows the listener to experience a metaphoric/metoric experience as no other. Mind "mingling" is the title of the second poem with the refrain, Suck My Mind! being the hook of the piece. I chose "Suck my Mind" as my introductory spoken word presentation because of the inherent message in the crafting of the poem. That message is that sensuality and sexuality can be achieved without the use of vulgarities, and that what is left to the imagination is indeed the euphoric experience that one truly desires.
