Details:
JewB & MilkyWhyte were neighbors for ten years in the Cooper House Projects of Brooklyn, but did not meet until Milkywhyte crashed JewB''s 25th Annual Gator Seder, where gator meat is used instead of lamb shank and Gatorade instead of wine. JewB had just been ejected from rabbinical school when his aspirations for becoming the world''s first hip-hop cantor were met with utter disdain by his congregation. MilkyWhyte, on the other hand, had just stabbed a girl at Catholic school, but evaded prosecution by stabbing the only key witness. Though excommunicated from the church, Milky had won his freedom. His years of training as a choir boy made him the ideal counterpart for JewB. Both men, struggling against the very systems that had rejected them, realized that the only way to express themselves was through hip-hop

It’s a different scene from the one that has pre-occupied JewB & MilkyWhyte since 2001, when their first album and subsequent video lit up YouTube and deepened their reputation as WTF geniuses. On Debut, the societal rejects turned rappers climbed down the proverbial dog-sex/baby-sex/terrorist-loving/whale-hating worm-hole only to emerge with one of Norway’s best-selling albums of 2001, a lean, genre-murdering tour de force of crunk beats paired with kindergarten hooks.

JewB & MilkyWhyte came out swinging with an immediate follow-up album titled Castrati, a calculated departure from the more childlike anthems of Debut, and an obvious move to take ownership of the commercial market. And it seems to have worked. “Tarzan Rubberband”, the first single from their sophomore album (and complimentary piece to Debut), took to the airwaves premiering on VH1’s Webjunk.

Castrati is one of those rare albums that takes the listener on a journey from hate to adoration, not necessarily in that order. “R.I.P. B. McF”, a swan song commemorating the ever fruitful collaboration of Bobby McFerrin and The Cosby Show, reminds us that life is all too short; “AnorexusComplexus”, a sweet and loving anthem celebrating the eating impaired, tantalizes the ears with candy-like rapture; “Got a Baby?”, a soulful track imbuing us with a new sense of planned parenthood; and “AIDS Maid”, an homage to Magic Johnson and those who tirelessly contribute to cleaning up after those who cannot care for themselves.

JewB now owns a home in Brooklyn, Tuscany, and Kuwait. MilkyWhyte had a custom Fortress of Solitude built in the nether regions of Greenland where he was last spotted stabbing a seal. The two artists, who have been collaborating remotely with walkie-talkie''s, plan to reunite for a potential world tour to promote their third and up-coming album, Balsawood/Balsasteel.
