Here is JUNGLE FUNK. This all-star band brings the best of drum’n bass grooves and a touch of jazz/funk vocals, with their debut album on ESC Records. This trio includes a rhythm section from one of the most innovative rock Groups Will Calhoun on drums & Doug Wimbish on bass from Living Colour and Vinx, one of the most dynamic world beat-jazz vocalists/drummers in the world.
After creation the band evolved and toured the US, Europe and Australia conquering over 175 shows in just over a years time, leaving audiences dancing on three continents. The bands writing process is unique as they are inspired by DJ’s and yet try to create these complex sounds in a live performance on instruments they have mastered. You will notice the members include in their instrumentation of drum, bass & vocals such diverse textures as loops, djembe, and state of the art technology developed by manufactures for the group to create a new direction in music.
