Trek was born out of war, sadness and frustration. Although not a concept album per se, from the ivory tower seeks to shine a light on the world of power and politics today. It is the flipside of the coin, the one that didn''t land face up.
Trek is the brain child of singer/songwriter/producer Bryan Steele. During a three year tour with the Broadway show, "Movin'' Out", Steele started song writing extensively. Some of those co-written songs were featured on different CDs but while writing on his own, Steele began what would become from the ivory tower. Recorded over a two year period, the CD features a host of amazing musicians from both the U.S. and South Africa.
