While his band does a good job at ripping up Southern rock-fuled bourbon blues, his solo offering seems a bit more introspective and low-key, more suited to the fireside than a barroom brawl. Gallagher''s admirable growl is reminiscent of other down South vocalists (Chris Robinson particularly), but offers enough originality to seperate him from his peers.
