ABOUT JEFF -
Jeff Bailey was born in Chattanooga Tennessee to a blue-collar family. His dad was a preacher/songwriter while mom cared for the four children. Bailey played in local bands while working as a house painter to pay bills as he continued his life long dream of becoming a songwriter.
Bailey was married at the Grand Ole Opry to his wife of 12 years Sharon Bailey. He is the father of two daughters, age 10 and 2 years old.
Bailey and family have attended Calvary Assembly of God in East Ridge Tennessee now for 10 years. Bailey''s positions held in the church are Praise and Worship and teaching Children''s church. Outreach ministries include prison and prevention ministry and touring to different churches.
Bailey loves music of all kinds, however, when writing, he tries to focus on delivering a positive message. His prayer is that people will be motivated to commit their life to Jesus and follow him. Bailey is a messenger - preaching with a melody.
The major influences in his music have been: Bruce Carroll, Jim Cole, John Elephante to name a few. These artists have been a bridge from music he grew up with, to a place where he now is in his walk of faith.
His gender of music is Christian contemporary - folk - country.
Another one of his life long dreams is to entertain from the stage of the Grand Old Opry.
