Born in Portland,Indiana, a small and thriving working community, Jeff has indulged himself in the world of music since he was a child. He began as almost all country singers do, by singing soulful music in choir sessions in church. His love for singing and entertaining led him to any ,and all charity events ,and nursing homes where young Jeff Craig, still in Jr. High could https://www.tradebit.comle in high school, he won several first place awards-medals at Ball State University in Muncie,Indiana. A seasoned and an accomplished entertainer/musician, Jeff has played many venues with reputable bands and artists. Craig wrote five of the songs on his CD entitled "My boots are out dancing again", on Seals Records Nashville ,which were also recorded at Breeden recording studios 3rd floor United Artists Tower (music row)Nashville. The CD was produced by producer / songwriter Chuck Seals, writer of the famed hit "Crazy Arms" recorded by over 300 different artists including Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and most of all Ray Price. Not long ago in a prestigeous Nashville talent show, Jeff placed second out of 24 https://www.tradebit.comee of the songs from his album titled "my boots are out dancing again" placed in the top 5 on Airplay Internationals nationwide top 100 chart. Soon after that Nashville promoter, Charlie Ray launched a worldwide promotional package to 220 countries. As a result, Jeff has had great response from overseas radio markets. Jeff Craig has received several awards such as Airplay Internationals "TrailBlazer of the year",an award given to those who perform well, and stick to "traditional" style country music. He also recieved a "Certificate of Honorable Mention" from Billboard Magazine, for his songwriting work on "PAPER DREAM" off of his CD "MY BOOTS ARE OUT DANCING AGAIN". Craig (decorated WW2 navy veteran) is buried at Sautel military cemetary in Santa Monica,and my Grandma Francis faye (allen) Craig is buried in Long Beach, Ca., as for my other grandparents,My Grandpa Rev. Kenneth C.
