Fiesta In Old El Paso: When anyone mentions Sundown Pete, we think of a Gary Cooper type of westerner dressed in a cavalry bib shirt, hip hugging Levis, and a snowy white Stetson. Pete, along with his singing and real life partner, the popular Margie Lane, have crossed the line - or should we say the border - from western ballads to romantic, authentic Mexican melodies, just as Pete''s friend , Marty Robbins once did.
Margie featured with Pete in this new presentation is already on the charts saluting the music of Mexico with her own award-winning CD/cassette, "Romantic Moments" on the Broadcast Label. Margie calls it "Border Music" and says it''s honest, sweet and the music of life and love.
