Secret Mission are definitely not a manufactured band, we are all genuine friends who met up on the London rock circuit.
Like most proper rock musos we are all pretty much self-taught, and no one has been anywhere near a stage school!

The exciting compound instrument (guitarkey, patent applied for) that Jaynie uses in the ‘I Hate Reality TV’ promo is not a prop or dummy, it actually works and she can play it live on stage! After several very close brushes with stardom, and one with a 51 ton truck Janie really has success in her sights. On this her début album she displays a dazzling array of talent as writer, arranger, producer and vocalist, plus her excellent keyboard skills, powerful rhythm guitar, and on the bonus track ‘Carnaby Street’, she even dives in behind the drum kit. With a songbook still bulging with future hits this album should be the first of many.

Born in the USA, but very nearly failed to get beyond 6 months of age, when he was targeted as the perfect breakfast by an anaconda (big snake) in Venezuela. He joined the band only weeks before the album was recorded, so the huge influence of his innovative powerhouse lead guitar and ability to conjure up guitar ‘hooks’ is all the more remarkable. We hope to make good use of his strong vocals and song writing abilities in the future. Coming from a ‘Metal’ background he promises to add the full range of six string pyrotechnics to our gigs.

Also Known As ‘Prof,’ ‘Done a few,’ ‘Captain Disgraceful,’ ‘Mr. Paul,’ & ‘Nicolas’, has apparently been around a very long time. According to him he was born in Suffolk in 1783, went off to sea and was for subsequently recruited by space aliens (recruited not abducted he says). In this particular incarnation he has worked as a touring roadie and a live sound engineer before finding his true vocation on his beloved five string Steinberger bass. He will tell you all about it at some length (and the alien stuff) if you buy him a beer.
Collector
Is a great drummer and percussionist but coming from a progressive rock band and being used to 15 minute long tracks he took a bit of stopping at first. On this album he enjoys a rare opportunity to sing and play guitar on a track he wrote himself. He collects many things but Daleks (from Dr. Who) are his number one prize. He has all types and sizes including vicious radio controlled ‘exterminators’, and he recently renovated a full sized, scary black, ex. movie prop example of the breed in his garage.
