MP3 Jeff Hibbard - Songs From England
"A superb mix of folk-rock and folk-pop" is how Jim Liddane, Chairman of International Songwriters Association, describes my music
10 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Pop, ROCK: Folk Rock
Details:
Born in 1951, West Midlands UK, I picked up my first guitar at the age of twelve,
four years later in 1967 I was playing in my first group, The Approach, with Ozzy Osbourne and three others.
The Approach lasted a few weeks and I went on to play lead guitar in other groups,
after doing that for a few years I started to wonder if I could write a song.
My first song came to me in the early eighties and I called it, The Seven Wonders.
After writing for some years I decided to get some of my songs professionally demoed and in 1997 I joined the
International Songwriters Association and used two Artists, CATHY & THE INNOCENCE and TOM, RICK & LARRY
who record through ISA to sing my songs for me.
The first song is dedicated to my Mother, the second song is dedicated to my Father,
there is a ballad about John Lennon and The Beatles, a song about childhood romance and more.
