*Biography:
Music Publisher, writer, beat producer, rapper, all around artist by inspiration. I am mostly inspired by people, their words, their actions, their stupidity, hatred, prejudices, laughter, tears, successes, failures, attempts, stories, and wisdom. I''ve learned that people can only control what you let them control. I try to find laughter in life. All-in-All I''m just enjoying my home, my wife, my son Elijah, drinking, praying, smoking, and making rap songs. I''m still getting over not having my youngest son Rodney L. Robinson Jr. with me ... but you now know that story ... his mother is the ''Messed up baby mama''. My music is UPTEMPO mostly. Some of my earlier influences were 2 Live Crew, Jam Pony Express, Gucci Crew, Egyptian Lover, Sir Mix-a-lot, Run DMC, LL Cool J, N.W.A., Ice T, and hundreds of one-hit wonders that had some type of "umph" in the ONE song that me say ... "damn, that was a cool effect", ... or "change-up", ... or whatever it was ultimately inspiring my next song. I''ve produced songs and worked on studio projects with lots of indie artists. I was apart of the Miami Bass scene in the early 1990''s. I was only signed to a label there. I lived in Birmingham, Alabama back then. My crew was "Gangsta Bass Alliance" [Boomtown Records/Hot Productions 1990]. Then formed a label with my crew member and some investors in 1992 [Black American Music]. Released some records on King B & GraveYard Mafia. Managed "A-Town Players" [Bellmark Records 1994]. My first real taste of group mgmt. We did everything on a promo back then (so many unnecessary sacrifices). We rocked everything from clubs in no-name towns to the Orange Bowl in Miami. After the "life of a manager" ended I took a break from music for a few years. Started recording again in 1998 with "Sexy Thighs" being my introduction to the internet through https://www.tradebit.com and NAPSTER. Hooked up with Freak Nasty (creator of pop hit "Da Dip") and went on the road again off and on for about 6 years doing spot dates. We rocked every hole in the wall that would hire us. From college Frat house parties to packed clubs around the U.S. The internet provided distribution but no structured sales mechanisms back then, so I just let the songs "Sexy Thighs", "17", and "Hot Mama" float around online going to free download sites to keep my name circulating. I found myself again uninspired and taking time off from recording new music in fear of not being able to sell anything in a ''free music'' marketplace. Oh well, after a few more years of contemplating and compromising ... I now find time to record new stuff and offer releases to still try to rock the dance floors with. I''m not half the "gun" I was in Highschool with this rap music, but I''m still pullin'' tricks from time-to-time. The "Bass Beats and Street Beats" series CDs (and others) that I release will be through https://www.tradebit.com (and major online music sites).

The biggest song for me to date is "Sexy Thighs". It can be ''googled'' and downloaded from many sites. I was apart of the original https://www.tradebit.com revolution with that song. Other songs can be found the same way. I''m currently posting on https://www.tradebit.com. Keep checking for prior and upcoming albums ... namely the "Bass Beats & Street Beats" series of projects ...
