The problem with cliches is that when they are spot on some of their meaning is lost. ''Words cannot describe what Proximo is doing.'' ''Proximo is influenced by everything in life.'' ''The stars aligned and we came together.'' All of these things are true however when they are stated as a simple cliche it is easy to overlook the relevance of all that is being said. In an effort to fill in the blanks this brief biography will continue.
Please note that everything has really already been said.
Proximo has come together over the past year as a result of Nick Fredell (Jettared), Matt Davis (Autumn and the Wasp), Chad Horton (AATW), and Grant Ferguson being bandless. The four of us have been good friends for years and one might argue that this is a lineup that should have happened a long time ago. Everyone, finally, was in a place to allow this to happen and we set off to create something special. With the help of Mark Michalik @ Sentient Studios we recorded the six song ep known as "The City Conspiracy". It was influenced by things ranging from the wind in the trees to the mere anticipation of what life has in store for us.
Proximo and its members aren''t special, we are just like you, trying to find our place in this world the best we know how. Our music is our effort to make an impact.
