Details:
David grew up in the Midwest on a farm in Iowa. He started playing the piano and singing at the age of 4, picking out notes from popular songs he heard on the radio. His parents quickly recognized his innate talent and arranged for classical piano lessons. It wasn''t long before David was playing piano and singing for the Women''s Club''s and church choirs in town. He picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and began singing and playing clubs and events in the Midwest.

After high school at the age of 18, David hitched his way out to California, where he landed a full scholarship to a Performing Arts school in San Diego. While attending the arts school, David performed as a singer and actor at the Old Globe Theater and the Kennedy Center in Washingon, DC. At the age of 20, he moved to Los Angeles and acted in over 50 on camera commercials and TV spots. David continued to play and sing in clubs and was always drawn back to his music.

While singing commercial jingles, David landed a gig singing backups for the "Carpenters" and toured with Karen and Richard in the 70''s. He sang with the "Tom Bahler Chorale" singers and in 1978 recorded at A&M Records on the "Carpenters" "Christmas Portrait album. He also sang with Doc Severinsen and the NBC Orchestra, recording a Michelob Commercial.

David moved back to Minneapolis in the 80''s and continued to sing commercial jingles. Throughout the 80''s he sang many National jingles and recorded in Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis and Chicago.

Moved to Perth, Australia in 1987-1988 and sang with an acappella group called "Naughty Fish". One memorable gig was singing at a party for Alan Bond, the Australian hero who was defending the America''s Cup, he won in 1983.

Since 1988, David has lived in Clearwater, Florida raising his two daughters, playing piano, guitar and singing the local music scene, while writing songs and dreaming of recording his original music, something he has put on hold his entire life. The job of Mr. Mom is now complete, and for the last year his dream has come true. Album No. 1 is finished. David hopes you enjoy "Flavours of Life", as much as he loved making it.
