Formed due to long time friendships and former enterprises (Cahill and Eyers-White formerly of The Violets), came a rekindled long distance relationship that just HAD to work...
Firstly demos, then phone calls...followed closely by the booking of a practice room-
and then a line up sought and discovered in Andrew Boyce (ex Monte'') on Guitar and the ever presence of Bassist Mark Frahn (ex The Pales).
Introduction Session No. 1 revealed three tracks completely born by correspondence in the one day- with the three following songs being catapulted without a net in the studio. Under the watchful eye and eager ear of Adelaide legend engineer Brett Sody, the new venture was not just well underway but gathering artful, emotional momentum..
Within 2 weeks of studio gatherings, treatments and mix downs- the 6 track EP "Fools Errand", was no more an interstate daydream, but a comprehensive, realistic and coherent mini masterpiece.
Track no. 1- "The Door"... the gentle, menacing and lurching melodic builder that re-introduces a crooning, Swervedriver-esque sound whirlpool and leaves its listener wanting....more.
"Lucky Star" caresses any soul within its sound range... reintroducing the lost art of Ebow and forcing an involuntary impulse to search for the repeat button on the device responsible for broadcasting it..
The lost art of space and grace are reclaimed magnificently with the majestic and sombre "Smiles and Lies"..
An ever slight pop deviation in the heart is uncovered in "Brothers Shoulders", introducing the pleasantly simple guitar synchronicity of Andrew Boyce and Matt Cahill.
"Month of Sundays", pleases and delights assuring the listener such that "though the clouds here don''t let the sun shine through - it''s a new day for me and you.."
And the haunting, spiraling upward march of "A Bloody Circus" can be best described as a Pinscher Movement of swirl and effect with wake to Bush''s parody of "peace" in the Middle East..

Evoletah- "Fools Errand"....An EP destined to captivate and encapsulate all that find themselves fortunate enough to be within it''s sound waves. It will colour and cull the heart without warning or discrimination; taking the traveller to an untapped and scenic musical destination......
