"Paint Me" is a collection of songs written and recorded by "Me Myself and I." As a Christian songwriter my goals are simple: to be different, lift the name of Jesus, be evangelical in nature, and in a spirit of worship. My hope is that this music will minister to the unbeliever or wayward child, the prodigal if you will - a state I am well familiar with.
"Oh That I Had Wings" is based on Psalm 55.
"Me Myself and I" was inspired by Romans 7:24 NIV, "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?"

"Paint Me", Ephesians 2:10 states that we as believers are God''s masterpiece. We must give up the brush to the Master Painter.
"Redeemer" is a prayer based on Psalm 19:14.
"Matter of Love" should be subtitled "Six Minutes to a Successful Marriage." It was inspired by my parent''s fiftieth wedding anniversary.
"No Compromise" is a creation of my mother, Ruth Merriner. God gave her this melody for comfort during a stressful period in her life. This is our first recording together. Ruth is a longtime member of the Canton, Ohio "Sweet Adelines" City of Flags Chorus.
"Cadillac Hill" is a departure in theme. This song encapsulates a lost era in Akron, Ohio, my hometown.
"Sinless Heart" is another variation of the simple salvation story, it cannot be told too many times.

"Royal Cowboy" is based on Revelation 19, the return of Jesus Christ in glory, with a rodeo twist. This song and "Cadillac Hill" feature my uncle and best friend Terry Merriner on the lap steel guitar.
"Javelin" is a mixture of Psalm 35 and Ephesians 6, the full armor of God.
"Holy Town", my Savior is building me a house. John 14:2 states, "In my Fathers house are many mansion; if it were not so I would have told you. I go prepare a place for you." - I want to see you there!
