Having grown up as a pastor’s kid in rural Kentucky, Michael Bryant’s exposure to Christian music began, as he describes it, “9 months before I was born.” Michael began singing in church at the age of 8 and immediately fell in love with using his unique vocal gift to encourage and inspire those who hear him. As a vocal performance major in college, Michael worked to refine his “instrument”. It was also during his college years that Michael began writing Contemporary Christian and Christian Rock music that revealed a unique perspective of the Word and an equally unique concept of Christ that gives us insight as to how the lives of everyday people can mirror the humility and depth of Love that can only be found at the foot of the Cross. During the last 20 years, Michael has served in several churches as a Worship Leader and Youth Pastor, worked in Music Evangelism and has been developing his gift for writing songs that are full of the sincerity and genuine love for Christ that marks not only Michael’s music but also his journey together with his wife Rhonda and their three children as they live out their dream of serving God, touching hearts and changing lives.
“God Bless The Warrior” is a song that reflects the hearts and minds of all those who face the giant of having loved ones in the military deployed throughout the world. “It‘s our desire that families whose loved ones have willingly agreed to sacrifice so much – maybe even their lives – just so you and I can continue to enjoy the multitude of freedoms we enjoy as Americans, will be touched by this song,” Bryant says. “Our hope is that God has provided through ‘Warrior’ a new National Prayer for Armed Services personnel.” A portion of the proceeds from the newly released independent single will benefit organizations such as the Yellow Ribbon Project and the Blue Star Mothers local and national organizations.
