Details:
Bing''s newest release is a tour-de-force that takes you on a tribal trip of rhythm, melody and harmony. Featuring all original tunes (one traditional) and an eclectic mixture of instruments, "Kokopelli Rising" is a spiritual journey that intertwines traditional vocals with Native American Flute, Appalachian mountain dulcimer, strings, horns and percussion from seven different countries. It''s a melding of the old culture with modern ways showcased over the course of an hour through ten free-flowing tracks.

The album opens up the legend of Kokopelli and his wife, Kokopelmana while also chronicling Bing''s integration of the Native American Flute into his already roots-laden music.

Expressive and plaintive flute melodies meet Appalachian mountain dulcimer on some tracks along with ethnic percussion from Africa, Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. Solo flute tracks along with acapella tunes and richly layered cuts featuring keyboards, vocal leads and harmonies round out this release steeped in mythology, tradition and the mysterious promise of the progressive future.

Let The Sun Not Set - Various percussion and Native American Flute illustrate the proverb "do not let the sun set on your anger."
