I am known professionally as a high energy,jazz, blues,gospel,organ https://www.tradebit.commond B3 Organ is my https://www.tradebit.com 2nd and 3rd favorite instruments to play are piano and synthesizer. If I choose to play synth, it gives me a chance to stand up and play as well as sing. I''ve also been inspired to write and sing ,not only my originals but great standards of many diverse styles,written by many great musicians ,instrumental and vocal, who have influenced me over time.
I am presently working on 6 different music projects
starting primarily with an instrumental organ albumn of some popular standards ,along with a few new originals and a couple of vocals.
My current CD, "JOHN T. DAVIS AND FRIENDS LAST OF THE BLUES",introduces to you songs that I''ve been inspired to write through the years,instead of a jazz blues quartet or sextet organ ensemble that I''m more known for,although ,this is more like what my next CD albumn will be. My present CD also gives me a chance to feature some of my musical friends, like the vocal stylings of the talented "Dianne Brooks" on the opening track or the firey trumpet of "Van Dixon" or the smooth alto sax sounds of "Demo Cates." (THIS CD IS DESIGNED TO CAPTURE SOME OF MY SONGS AND WRITING STYLE, PLUS THE ESSENCE OF A VOCAL and INTRUMENTAL ALBUMN,WHILE BEING RELAXED,ENERGETIC AND INSPIRATIONAL,ALL IN ONE GOOD SWING.} OH!I,m singin the solo on 8 of the ten tracks.
