I set out to make a record that, in part or in whole, would rumble quietly like a Burial record, sit warmly like an M83 record, sound a little painful like a Portishead record, knock like an Ed Rush choon, sway like "Reckoner" by Radiohead, move like a Sasha track, surround you like a U-Ziq record, chime like a Four Tet album or Thomas Newman score, make you smile like one of Sophia Copolla''s favorite Aphex Twin numbers, lift your ear on a cloud of synths like "Enduro" by Blame, start with the same balls as Mogwai''s "Mr. Beast," and end like "Motion Picture Soundtrack" by Radiohead. My greatest hope is it will live as a soundtrack to accompany your imagination. I had a lot of fun making this with my friends. Love, Todd
