Normally the children would go outside to play, but this time it rained. Activities were held in the cafeteria where coincidentally there was a piano. Some of the kids were playing nursery tunes on the piano along with the teacher; appropriate to the age-group. When Towanta sat to the piano she played "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven and "Hill Street Blues." At the age of 11, her parents bought her 1st keyboard & karaoke machine at PC Richards.
From "Hill Street Blues" to rhythm and blues, Towanta started comosing music. Not only is Towanta a talented keyboard (pianist) player, she plays the drums, tenor saxophone, clarinet, and guitar. Towanta also sings in a 2 and a half octave range.
