Burkina Faso meets Senegal in Europe! Kokoura means ''something new'' and the group was formed around the Senegalese masterdrummer Mousse Dramé and the two brothers Adama & Moussa Dembele from Burkina Faso. The group was completed with 3 young musicians from Amsterdam and the wonderful Brazilian singer Ceumar. Influenced by afrobeat, samba, desertblues, soul, reggae and traditional African music they are able to blend and mix all these colors into a wonderfull new sound!
