Details:
Kaleah, a singer/songwriter living in Sedona, Arizona brings her wealth of experience in personal development and spiritual growth into the music arena. Gifted with an incredibly powerful and beautiful, multi octave voice, Kaleah uses her music not only to express her own personal journey of healing and transformation but to inspire others on their journey. Although her music falls into the "New Age" Genre for its healing/transformational qualities, it also crosses over to Adult Contemporary. The quality of her voice and her lyrical style has been compared to artist such as Sara McLachlan, Loreena McKennit, and Tori Amos.
Kaleah calls her music Goddess Rock. "It is a bit like rock opera," says Kaleah," but with a definite theme of feminine emergence. This is the rise of the repressed feminine out of darkness and into the light." Kaleah''s music draws audiences of seekers and appreciators of music with strong lyrical and musical quality. Listeners find her lyrical messages interesting and refreshing.
"The Road Home", Kaleah''s second CD, was birthed from a desire to capture her most authentic expression. She dawned her engineering and producers cap and went to work in her own studio. With an abundance of songs to chose from she brought them to life with a variety of rich keyboard orchestrations, flute, viola, hand drums, kit drums and electronic percussions. She used several layers of vocal harmonies, tones and chanting blended with the main vocals. "My new CD is much more alive than anything I''ve done so far" says Kaleah "because I am so much more alive. I didn''t hold anything back, I just sang like there is no tomorrow and I feel my songs really capture that sense of liberation, of coming home to oneself."
Kaleah promotes her CD on several Internet websites, through her performances and her writing. She typically performs at benefits, special events, concerts, coffee houses, and private parties. Performances open to the public are posted on her website at https://www.tradebit.com
