The archetypal postmen are Roger Kaye, Gill Kaye, the SLEM choir and friends. They are an enigmatic mix of musicians, plucked from various corners of the galaxy - "no mass no meaning" was recorded in a home studio, mixed at Earth Terminal in Odiham, Hampshire, UK and mastered at Field Effect in Poole, Dorset, UK.
All songs written and arranged by Roger Kaye. Vocals by Gill Kaye and Roger except "Deep Lies" which is sung by Trish Chisholm. Backing vocals on Planet Earth, Deep Lies, Starry Night and Do We Know Why by the Slem Choir - Steve, Libby, Emily and Maddie Longhurst. All instruments by Roger except some base and percussion by Gill. Percussion on Song and Starry Night by Andy Thompson. Extra lead guitar on Song and Dark Moonlight by Paul Pearce.
