Largely instrumental with occasional vocal loops the album transports the listener into a musical landscape of lush layered sound. Incorporating such diverse influences as electronica, alternative rock, down-tempo, folk, nu-jazz with a twist of lounge whilst not forgetting the all important killer tune that completes the unique musical ride.
At the core of Attic Trax is Richard Jacob, a record producer in a former life who now dabbles on keys and trombone. Steve Jones the yet to be discovered genius of layered guitar sound and soloing on keys and piano Klay D-C formerly of the MOBO winning Jazz Steppers. The glue is tightly applied by Steve Evans on bass.
