"With every energetic bar he spits, the mastery of not only the rhythm, but the language, is clear... something that is uncharacteristic in most of today''s commercial recording artists."

Introducing: K-cino

No artist is more hungry...
With more and more material coming out each week, K-cino''s new collaborations with reggae producers and R&B artists add to his 80+ track recording experience!

Talk about efficient: K-cino wrote and produced an entire 55 minute LP in a week and a half, and since has been featured on mixtapes all across the country. On May 21st, the release party for his solo album entitled, "Project: Hustle...the early years," was held at the largest hip hop club in DC: Club 2K9. In the first week, he moved over 5,000 units across the DC metro area, as well as Baltimore, Boston, and the tri-state. Recently, he booked 3 shows on Jadakiss''s "Kiss of Death" promotional tour, in response to the album and mixtape work he has accomplished.

Since writing music at age 16, K-cino has broken into the urban mainstream market, with the help of producers such as Getti (Elephant Man, Lexus Nexus), Ayatolla (Talib Kweli, Styles P), and J-Glaze. He was featured in Slam Magazine, and is currently shooting episodes of StreetJamz TV, a new show that will be aired on cable networks including BET, The Style Network, FUSEMusic Network, and America One to over 83 million potential viewers. Also on his resume is the winner of the 95.5 Battle/Talent Showcase held at the Tunnel in March 04, and hundreds of smaller gigs, including musical performances on instruments such as the guitar, keyboard, and percussion. With all of the experience amassed by this young artist, commanding audiences over the past few months will surely lead to national distribution.

SSC Records was incorporated in August of 2002, by Kyle Kane (aka K-cino), and George Metaxotos (aka Grim Kane). In the past two months, the number of employees has more than quadrupled; and positioned for rapid growth in the flourishing urban market segment, the talent roster has also more than doubled.

Also featured on the talented SSC Records roster is R&B sensation: Dalenise. Equally talented as both a singer and songwriter, Dalenise crafts a rare musical gift with every melody and lyric she writes. After studying vocal music at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in D.C., she began performing all over the world with Ellington''s Show Choir. She later took her experience and talents to greater heights, performing the lead role as "Treemonisha" in Scott Joplins opera titled "Treemonisha" at Howard University, where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Music Education. She now teaches music to inner-city youth at McGogney Elementary School in South East DC.

With the roster of talent on SSC Records, we are sure to hear from them soon! Check for their newest release in April 2005 entitled, "The Pain and The Hustle", in stores near you!
