There''s an uplifting quality there, just as there is on "Dreamlife," where Tyson''s vocals take the listener above the chaos and allow him/her to linger there until the song moves toward its final end.
Elsewhere, songs such as "Late at the Airport" and "Point of View," propelled by Brandon''s crushing beats, the fat, forward-feeling rumble of Kyla''s bass and the rich, dual textures of Hilario and Tyson''s guitar lines, soothe as much as disturb, move as much as they still. But no matter the reaction, you can''t say that you''ve walked away from Ambulance without having felt something deep, no matter how fleeting.
