Details:
Eaz was born in Brazil and raised in North Lauderdale, FL. He started writing when he was 13. When he was younger, Eaz was inspired by Mase’s lyrical ability. He would write down the lyrics to recite them as if it was his own. By listening to the way he performed and the way he delivered, he believed that he was capable of doing this. As a result, his gift became more of a reality. When Eaz was faced with the difficulty of not being able to fully speak out his thoughts, he would just write them into songs. From that point on, he realized that he wanted to be an M.C. and just continued to write his own stuff. Being an M.C, became his passion in life! Eaz lives by the motto "Get it how you live."

Teflon was born in Jamaica and raised in Mt. Vernon/Bronx, N.Y. His influence came from a varity of music in his life because everyone in his family is somehow involved in music. He started paying attention to hip hop at the age of 6. He first put a “pen to the pad” at the age of 9 and started writing poems. He didn''t think that he was lyrically inclined enough to write hip hop music yet. At the age of 15 his first hip hop song was a remix to a Biggie Smalls song , which he performed in front of approximately 30 people. When he joined the military, he started writing more lyrics as a result of his passion for writing. As he continued to write, he became more musically inclined. Since his release from the military, he has continued writing. Teflon believes that music for him, is in part a blessing and a curse, because his mind constantly flows and thinks about lyrics. It makes it seem as though a monster dwells inside him, trying to take control. Teflon lives by the motto, "Be true to yourself before your real with anybody else."

Eaz and Teflon met through a mutual friend back in 2005. With a passion for music, the group through a mutual friend gained access to a studio in 2005 because it was free. The first song they wrote together was “Bring it Right Back”. From that, came the agreement on the group name 151. The group’s name became apart of their lives but in late 2006 they could not get any studio time because of life’s financial expectations. The groups name 151 was chosen because of its'' hard liquor content and its use in all fascists of life from birth, death, weddings, etc. Alcohol is a mood setter. If you take 151, (hard liquor), for granted be prepared to suffer the consequences. But if you take it in increments, it sits well with you.
