As we live in Joy, we become more enlightened, we lighten up, releasing the heavy things that hold us down such as judgments and fear. When we live in our Joy we feel connected and all of the stress in our minds and our lives just melt away. When we experience the Joy and pure being that we really are then we are living our full potential. This is where we created ‘LoveJoy’ from and where it can take you.
How it all began: After running from the waters of the big tsunami of 2004 in South India, breaking her foot, then being wretchedly sick and hospitalized all in a three month period in India, Corrine Champigny returned to the USA with an understandably different view of the outside world from her new inner world view. With Sanskrit mantras and prayers swimming in her head after her immersion into India, she went to visit her dear friend Brian Hardin with whom she had done many creative projects. Brian was working on some new instrumental music and Corrine was inspired by Brian’s music and began singing along. That was the conception of Love Joy (as Brian has so affectionately called it since the beginning). The birthing process on the other hand has taken the last three years…but in love and joy all of the way. Brian took Corrine and Bhagavan Das’s performances to new levels as he has been like a wizard turning knobs and turd polishing and reaching new levels with their creation over the duration. What has been born out of this process is a beautiful masterpiece of music with unique rhythms and trance like chanting where the listener looses himself and the true self of Joy is found.
