CHOFO''OBLACK (Serpent-Dj) is a Cameroonian Mako-Decalle composer, singer and producer.
Born in Nsongwa, North West Province Republic of Cameroon as a descendant from the Royal family. Chofo''o, grew up in Bamenda NW of Cameroon.
After completing high school, He proceeded to the US of A in pursuit of academics. While in DC Metropolitan (Maryland), he got into the Disc jockey (Dj) business, and quickly became the most popular Dj in the Washington Dc Metropolitan area in late 2006; a position he has maintained till present.
With the pressing need of his services Chofo''o created a group (Le Groupe Serpent) with members Dj Eric Lamlenny from Chicago, Dj Kenny Max, Dj DY and Henry Dool all from Washington DC.
Faced with many challenges in the Dj business in the later part of 2007, Chofo''o decided to expose his inner talent and great love for music. He dubbed this style (Serpent Dance).
