Corrine Champigny (Korin) has been living and breathing yoga and meditation since her introduction to the ancient practices back in 1994. A professional musician for many years Corrine was introduced to meditation in 1994 to help cure a stomach ulcer. That was the beginning of her destiny as they say. Very soon after learning meditation, which cured her ulcer by the way, Corrine started traveling to California from her home in Nashville to study with Deepak Chopra. The meditation had such a profound and powerful impact on her life that gradually over the next five years Corrine’s life became immersed in yoga, meditation and also the sacred music that comes out of these practices. After being certified by the Chopra Center to teach meditation Corrine opened House of Bliss on Music Row in Nashville. She quickly became the stress relief Guru to the Country Music Stars and still does occasionally go on tour with the stars to help them with yoga and meditation.
In 2001 Corrine moved to San Diego and began working more closely with the Chopra Center eventually becoming the Director of Sales and Marketing and finally co-founding the Yoga Certification program at the Center.
After her first visit to India in 2000 with Deepak, Corrine began journeying back and forth to India and eventually started to lead Yoga Tours to India. Now eight years later Corrine has recently married a native Indian and the international couple split their time between their homes in South India and Southern California.
For the past ten years Corrine has had the privilege of performing at many of Dr. Deepak Chopra''s seminars and lectures. With the vast expertise and interests that Corrine has there are a variety of lectures, workshops and retreats that she leads. Workshops include Yoga, Meditation, Chakra Toning, Sound Healing with Chanting and many more topics depending on the students or particular Retreat requirements.
