As a child I was fascinated by music. My mom tells me that at the age of one I would lay next to the stereo in our living room and pound the floor to the beat of the song. Nowadays you''ll find me strumming the guitar more often than pounding the carpet, but my love of music hasn''t gone away.
My new album "Downstairs" just came out. It took me two years to produce and I''m really proud of it. My good friend Paul was the producer on the album and I think he did an excellent job. Paul and I toiled away for the better part of June in his parent''s basement; recording (and re-recording) guitars, vocals, trumpets, basses, crowds of people, drinking glasses, and sometimes the creaking wood floor of the house. It was one of the most satisfying experiences of my life. I love singing, and I hope that comes across in my songs. I also hope you enjoy hearing them as much as I enjoy playing them.
