IGOYA play an original mix of indie chaotic rock and old school punk, with a touch of prog & new wave. They formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2005 and played for quite a while under the name Cultivader, before changing it recently to IGOYA. Currently, IGOYA are promoting their debut album- ''RUN AMUK'' having recently completed a tour of south-eastern Australia.

Their influences include:- Pixies, Black Flag, Atari Teenage Riot, The Stooges, Bodycount, Sonic Youth, NOFX, The Ramones, Shellac, early Kid 606, Dead Kennedys, Cheech & Chong, Alice Cooper, Trans Am, Black Sabbath, Ween, Mudhoney, Devo, early Gn''R, Drive Like Jehu, MotorHead, Bowie, Slayer, StraightJacket Fits, Metallica & more...

BAND MEMBERS:-

Tim: Vox, Bass.
Played in ‘Sumo” and ‘Stress'' in New Zealand, where they toured a few times. Then moved to Melbourne, where he survived by busking until joining ‘Ape is Ape'' and now IGOYA.

Ricky: Guitarist.
Has played around the music scene in Melbourne for quite a few years. Originally involved with ''Batteryland'', then ''Stress'' (Oz line-up) and finally the infamous ''Ape is Ape''.

Adam: Drums, Vox.
Has done West African drumming, International tours with Indonesian group ''Swara Narga'', plus drummed behind pop act ''Fat Eddie'' and a punked up affair with ''The Stinky Girls''.
