Pat Kelleher hails from a small area in Dripsey, County Cork, Ireland and has been a performing folk singer and clawhammer banjoist since 1980. Pat has toured Ireland, Uk, Germany and New England area of the U.S. Pat is not a song writer, but interprets songs and puts his own stamp on them.
He was heavily influenced by the likes of Tommy Makem, Luke Kelly & Pete Seeger and plays the long neck five string banjo as well as guitar. He has agreat passion for all types of folk songs and his ambition is to try to keep these songs alive and pass them on to the future generations.
