Release of Walking On Water, comes after raising three sons (two with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of Autism), a career in communications and video production, and years of performing.
Dawnya has performed as a solo artist, and with a number of bands. She opened for some top acts including Tower of Power and The 5th Dimension, she has appeared twice on the national Easter Seals telethon, was headline act at the Heartland BrewFest, and has entertained at multitudes of gigs in Minnesota, Iowa, California, and Idaho.
Dawnya now devotes full-time to songwriting and performing. She lives in North Idaho, where she and her song partners have produced a freshman album with qualities that only living a lot of life can bring.
