MP3 Last Years Man - ROCK: Hard Rock

The world''s greatest hard rock band, period.

5 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Hard Rock, ROCK: 90''s Rock

Details:
Listening to the debut EP from Last Years Man, ii''s difficult to imagine the music contained therein was created by a band whose four members grew up in the cultural wasteland of Disturbed-listening mullet-heads that is the southwest side of Chicago.
The group, whose name was lifted from the title of a Leonard Cohen song, formed in the tumultuous early weeks of 2002 with the goal of making music that would stand out like a mighty oak tree amid the arrid landscape of over-produced quasi-garage/punk mediocre pseudo metal that makes up today''s rock scene. The band combines riffs crunchy enough to make even the most jaded old-school rocker raise his fist and yell with lyrics and melodies powerful, yet lovely enough to make the ladies swoon. Add to this the thunderous bass and lightning quick drum fills of the rythym section, and you''re caught in a perfect storm of rock ''n'' roll fury.
All this raises one very important question: "What the HELL ae these guys talking about?" Well, the answer is "Yes." Yes, Last Years Man''s live show is just as potent; just as awe-inspiring; just as powerful as its first studio effort. Since the band''s formation, the members of Last Years Man have honed their performance skills to a level just beyond near-perfection.
In conclusion, the most important thing to know about Last Years Man can be found in the answer to one very simple question: What kind of music does Last Years Man play (or not play)? Last Years Man does not play nu-music, post-music or avant-music. Last Years Man does play
Real music. Honest music. Good music.
