Lazuli Quazar is a band from Seattle produced by Van Brown at Temple House Studio; The first single "Craft" delivers 21st century psychedelic super funk. It features Nikki Chipman on backing vocals, Will Feffer on Z-funk guitar, Cody Davis of Nova Tone on Bass, Mark Taylor Canfield on keys and Van Brown on rhythm guitar, drums, and lead vocals. The EP is like a mini album- it takes the listener on a short journey through a spectrum of sound and innovation. Dive into track two "Sonar" with deep dark, yet up-lifting psychedelia featuring Diana Hickman''s vocal solo. Then go Sci-fi adventure pop on track three "Sow they say." Find yourself drifting into a funky reggae dub party on track four "Unite our Love." These four songs show the diverse range of singer/songwriter Van Brown who is currently in the studio finishing his first full length CD and putting together his live act featuring Willow B. on percussion, Brian Bensky on Bass, Matt Muziani on lead guitar and Mark Taylor Canfield on Keys, Van will be playing guitar and lead vocals.
