"Happy Hour" happens to be the sound of dance, club, and hip-hop music sang with the high-energy stage performer, Josh Hearing (Mr. Satisfaction). His vocals are full of emotion, love, and tenderness on top of the edge that you hear today in modern pop-punk. Using the auto-tune to satisfy all parts of your body, Mr. Satisfaction leaves the vodka martini''s shakin'' and not stirred and gets you buzzed on every track of "Happy Hour". The album is surprisingly not about drinking alcohol, it''s surprisingly about the many ways he brings girls back to his penthouse in downtown las vegas. The first track of the CD, "Matrimonial", has a lyrical wedding reception brought to the heart shaped, honeymoon bed, "It''s looking like a honeymoon here, satton sheets, red pillows, red curtains, Oh Dear! Give him love, give him love in the hot tub, in the middle of club I don''t care." But he does care! He wants to sing @ everyone''s wedding! He says for you to bring it back to the heart shaped bed? The first song is genius. He let''s a marriage carry-on, a married couple get it on, and let''s a honeymoon happen. He doesn''t sing about stealing your wife. How nice of him.
The second song happens to be about the current girlfriend of Mr. Satisfaction, or in his words, "Mrs. Satisfaction." Can he do that? Have his own girlfriend? ....Satisfy more girls. Come on Mr. Satisfaction. Back to the song: he brings the club back to the house, and turns off the lights. His emotion in this song is unreal. His auto-tuned, vibrato, chorus sounds delicious. The third song is the myspace hit, Rich Years Remix featuring Reno Re, DJ SS, and Yung Mikee. The hit song is backed with the collaboration of DJ SS and Mr. Satisfaction synth and beats, and the lyrics are like a clean, positive, and sexual version, of I''m so hood. .....Maybe not. Whatever. Rich years remix is probably the best song on the album. It''s got my vote for song of the year.
Unfortunately for you, I''m only going to give you three song reviews, not because I''m lazy, but because you need to buy this album. .....Ok, I''m lazy. But buy "Happy Hour". I bought two digital copies already, and one''s in my car at all times, and the other is on my computer for whenever I''m writing reviews about shitty albums. .....OOPPPSSS. Except this one. ....How bout that? Get me to review your album. I''m cheap. Mr. Satisfaction is rich and paid me like ten grand to review his album, but HEY, whatever you need, I''ll do. .....Chet Peddington Signing off.
