Details:
Won a national poetry contest while in college and other writing awards. Played percussion in high school band, doing snare drum, playing the the Louisiana Tech Marching and concert band also. Began playing guitar while in college and played set in rock, blues and country bands. Wrote songs over years and began doing open mics in Dallas/Fort Worth and Denton in 2004.
Played drums with bass player, Rick Talbert, cousin to Jerry Lee Lewis, who is a great bass and guitar player with Sky (rock/blues band) during college, as drummer, playing Beatles, Almond Bros., Big Billie Bronzy, Clapton, Marshall Tucker, ZZTop, Stones, etc., playing at Frat and Sorority parties. Began working as sing/songwriter in 2003, performing at Banter, Andy''s, Rubber Gloves, and ArtSix open mics in Denton, TX. Have played at Club Dada, Fallout and other venues in Deep Ellum/Dallas. Performed my songs also at the White Elephant, and MacHenry''s in Fort Worth. Record at home on my Mac. Played all the instruments on my first album.
