Bluedan''s Biography
Gareth O. James, born in the Parish of Saint James, Jamaica, WI., grew up in the countryside and spent most of his early childhood days working on his Dad''s farm a few days per week after school and sometimes on Sundays.
The rivers and streams were a few of his favorite places to visit after school. Favorite hobbies were swimming, fishing, and bird hunting using a sling shot called a “Catapult” in Jamaican.
During his late teens Gareth performed as an apprentice DJ and singer on a small sound system in the area.
In his early 20''s Gareth decided that the country life was a little too slow to progress and went to the city of Montego Bay where he became employed in some of the major hotel chains in Rose Hall, Montego Bay where he socialized with the tourists from all walks of life, understanding their accents and learning their cultures, while staying positive with fellow Jamaicans. The waterfront, the beaches, and the nightlife were a dream come true.
