My name is JawKneeYeah, and I am a solo musician from the Los Angeles area. I write, produce and record my own music at home in my bedroom studio. My first independent debut album, "Sent From Above EP", will be released in late 2008. I started getting into music during my high school freshman year when I enrolled in guitar class. Music never came easy for me, and so I started out both playing guitar and singing terribly. After joining the high school choir during my senior year, my singing improved a bit. After high school, everything I did musically was on my own. I practiced and learned music at home through books, videos, and lots of practice and experimentation. I also started to get influenced by the culture of hip hop through rap music and hip hop dance. Towards the end of my college years, I realized that music became a part of me that I could never do without. And so, what started out as a hobby, I am hoping to turn into a bright future.
