Details:
Jason began playing guitar at the age of ten after his dad showed him a few chords. Raised on a steady diet of traditional folk (Peter, Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, Harry Chapin, John Prine, etc.), Jason branched out in his high school years to include bands like U2 and REM, and he admits a penchant for the likes of Jane''s Addiction and members of the 1980''s DC punk scene. In college, Jason focused on writing his own songs and quickly found himself playing local open mics, clubs and coffeehouses. He released a compilation of his demos (1992''s When Everything Was New) due to requests from a small but dedicated fan base. He followed up in 1996 with Coming Home and continues to write, record and perform. Jason expects to release new material within the next year.
