when i was in the army serving abroad at night we would play our favourite singers mine where buddy holly jerry lee lewis and of course the king himself as we only had one record player (this was in the stone age) we had to wait our turn to listen to our records one night this lad wanted a album played and as he was a mate of the bloke who owned the player he got going first that night who is it i asked hank williams album luke the drifter he said never heard of him i replied but by the time the record finished i dont think there was a dry eye in the tent it certianly broadended my veiw of music and i hope ive''captured a small bit of hank williama for me the way country music should be played thanks for your time
