Tim Hinde is a Cincinnati based singer/songwriter who released his debut solo album, Woodnotes, in August of 2008. Tim wrote all the songs on Woodnotes and performs all tracks including vocals, six and twelve string acoustic guitars, mandolin, harmonica, bongos, tambourine, keyboard and pipedream. Tim was joined on the album by vocalist, Gloria Santoro, who provided supporting vocals on Soulmate and Hippie Brown. Woodnotes is delivered in a true, simple recording, acoustic based, moving and thoughtful songs of love, friendship, struggle and hope.
Tim’s music is best described as Modern Folk, acoustic based Folk/Rock, Americana, Roots Rock with flavors of Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, (Exile on Main Street) Rolling Stones.
With a passion for live performance, Tim Hinde’s shows include original music and covers, spanning from the 60’s thru current artists: from Neil Young to Old Crow Medicine Show, from the Stones to U2, from Bob Marley to Jane’s Addiction, from Violent Femmes to Oasis. Tim performs regularly in and around the Cincinnati area playing solo acoustic guitar with harmonica and even an occasional kazoo.
Catch Tim regularly at the Fabulous Edge Inn, Norwood, on Tuesdays from 9pm-1am. Tim was recently invited to perform at Midpoint Music Festival which is a venue featuring over 300 artists from across North America and the world. Tim will perform at the Arnolds venue at 8pm on Thursday, September 25, 2008.
